The Ultimate Remote application is an open-source, free remote control solution designed for the Ultimate-II and Ultimate 64 devices running firmware version 3.11 or higher. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and Mac, it offers a range of functionalities tailored to enhance user interaction with these hardware platforms.

• Registration of Ultimate devices on the local network through a straightforward scanning process.
• Importation of media content stored on the Ultimate device using a simple text file interface.
• Convenient access to and search capabilities for imported content, enabling quick actions such as playing SID files or launching programs or cartridges on the Commodore 64.
• Uploading and executing external files directly from mobile devices.
• Mounting disk images and browsing D64 directory contents, allowing users to select and run files on their Commodore 64 directly from the app.
• Customization of home layouts with adaptable function arrangements for improved user experience.
• Creation of shortcuts for frequently used games, music, or other supported file types on the home screen, with optional custom icons for personalization.
• Importation of the High Voltage SID Collection, creation of jukebox playlists, and playback capabilities on the Commodore 64.
